Here, you will find informations related to modelization packages under scilab, C++ and Matlab.
* The C++ package should work OK under linux and windows (I use mingw and / or cygwin under windows).
* The Matlab package is shipped with the C++ package. I will separate these package soon to make a C++ package and a Matlab package.
* The scilab package is ready. Execute builder.sce and then loader.sce to load the package into scilab. You will find an example of use in the demos directory. It shows how to use every command of the lolimot package.
* The Kriging package is reader. Execute builder.sce and then loader.sce to load the package into scilab. You will find an example of use in the demos directory. It shows how to use every command of the lolimot package. It may exist some corner cases in which the package shouldn't work. With this package, you have an UI (krig_ui.sci) which will help you to easily tune the learning of the Kriging model.
!Developpment goals:
* Optim: I would like to rewrite all the optimization methods in a C library and then write an interface to Scilab, Matlab and ROOT.
* work on the femtruss package (femtruss is originally a Matlab package which has been translated to scilab and to which I included some more functionalities: 3D support, dynamic. I would like now to add the computation of partial derivatives and add some Scilab optimization to speed up the computation.

In the optim package, you will find some optimization methods:
* BFGS, LBFGS, SUMT, conjugate gradient (various versions), DFP, Steepest descent.
* Genetic algorithms, Simulated Annealing.
* LFOP, ~LFOPc, ~DynQ, SQSD, ETOP, ~ETOPc: various methods defined by J. Snyman. Most of these methods are used in [[LS-Dyna|http://www.lstc.com]] via the [[LS-Opt|http://www.lstc.com/pages/opt.htm]] library.
* MMA (Method of Moving Asymptotes), and a new version of ~DynQ.
* etc ...

In this package, you will find a lot of test problems:

This package is fully fonctionnal. Execute builder.sce and then loader.sce to launch this package. Params is built to be an "equivalent" set of functions to the optimset function of Matlab. This package will be intensively used in a near future in the optimization packages.
